The interior of the OSHI Izakaya restaurant on Petrovka is an exquisite “jewel box” space that combines Japanese tradition and European aesthetics. Inspired by the image of the emperor's son, who embraced European culture as his own and grew up between two worlds, the concept is reflected in the details: hand-painted decorations, antique objects, noble textures, and profound symbols of transformation. Despite its compact size, the interior is filled with complex materials—from concrete to antique lacquered facades in the chinoiserie style—and is designed so that each area tells its own part of the overall story, creating an atmosphere of comfort, richness, and cultural dialogue.
