Atlantica Bistro on Bolshaya Dmitrovka is the third project by Atlantica Group and the second restaurant in the brand's seafood-focused bistro concept. Designed by ESENINS Design Studio, the interior reflects the restaurant's core philosophy: premium seafood at an accessible price point, fast service, and the vibrant energy of a contemporary urban bistro.
The project occupies the historic Princess M. A. Lieven Apartment House, built in 1910. While preserving the existing functional layout—with the main kitchen located in the basement, an open kitchen on the ground floor, and dining areas distributed across two levels—the designers completely reimagined the architectural identity of the interior.
The focal point of the ground floor is a monumental communal table integrated with the pizza oven, creating a lively social hub at the heart of the restaurant. The upper level is organized around the bar and a dining area overlooking the double-height space, allowing guests to experience the dynamic atmosphere of the restaurant from above.
The interior draws inspiration from the refined aesthetics of contemporary yachts, expressed through soft, flowing furniture silhouettes, porthole-inspired mirrors, and a carefully balanced palette of wood, natural stone, and metal. A system of layered cornices with concealed lighting enhances the perceived height of the space, while custom-designed art installations evoke the presence of the sea in a subtle and sophisticated way.
