GREES — a contemporary Greek taverna on the third floor of the restaurant complex.
Greek cuisine feels close to us in its simplicity, freshness, and accessibility, so in the interior we wanted to capture the spirit of a traditional taverna while reinterpreting it through the lens of contemporary minimalism.
White plaster, natural stone, wood, and woven light fixtures create an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. The blue of the shutters and doors recalls the streets of Greek towns, while contemporary furniture and a mix of textures keep the space fresh, light, and relevant.
The interior’s distinctive character is enhanced by frescoes created specifically for the project, inspired by well-known classical scenes. In the evening, carefully designed lighting highlights the materials and transforms the restaurant into a warm, intimate space.
As GREES is located on the third floor, we wanted the interior to be more than just a beautiful backdrop — it became part of the strategy for attracting guests: a destination worth going upstairs for.
